After getting in touch with me (see details here), we will plan a consultation, either through email or Instagram DM. ​

We will address different topics:

​

• what you would like the final piece to be (style, techniques, size, ...)

​

• in what kind of case (frame, pendant, glass globe, ...). There are many different options. From antique to modern pieces, even handmade ones

​

• from the photo you sent me, I will estimate what seems feasible with the hair provided. Depending on your ideas, hair texture, quality, condition, length and quantity. This will need to be confirmed upon receiving the hair

• if you wish to make an ashes inclusion piece, we will discuss the style, technique and case, as well as discuss your ideas, in order to make a unique piece for you

• From there, I will be able to give you an estimate price for the hairwork / asheswork

​​

• The cost of the case of your choice (frame, pendant, medallion, ...) is to be added to the estimate price.

​​

• I will also estimate the timeline for the hairwork / asheswork to be completed (starting upon receiving the hair / ashes).

​​

• I will explain how to safely send the hair / ashes to me. I strongly advise you send it with a tracking number. Shipping expenses are yours to cover.

​​

• Commission prices start at 150€ for the hairwork. That's equivalent to a small simple palette work, in a brooch or a small pendant (price of the case excluded). 

• Commission prices for ashes inclusion works usually start at 50€ (price of the case excluded).

​​

• When we agree on the project, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit of the estimated price (hairwork/asheswork+case)
  It helps secure your spot on the calendar.

• Before shipping the finished hairwork / asheswork, the remaining balance, shipping costs and insurance (if wished) are due to be paid. Please note there might be duties fees or customs, depending on the countries. They are yours to cover.

​​

• The estimate price might evolve during the project, but I will always keep you updated and discuss it with you. It might occur if hair need more preparation work for instance.

​​

​​

• I want you to be fully satisfied with the finished hairwork / asheswork, this is why I will send you regular updates during the production process.

​​

• If you granted me artistic license, I will keep you informed as well if the estimate price might evolve during the production process.

​​

• When sending the finished hairwork / ashework piece to you, I send back the hair / ashes which were not used as well.

​

 

Please note:

If you would like a commissioned piece, but can't provide any hair, I have a stock of donated hair to work with (human and horse hair).

​
